          電渦流式傳感器是利用電渦流效應(yīng).將位移、厚度、溫度、材料損傷等非電量轉(zhuǎn)為阻抗的變化(或電感的金化,或Q值的變化),從而進行非電量測量的。
        所謂電渦流效應(yīng),就是根據(jù)法拉第電磁感應(yīng)定律.塊狀金屬導(dǎo)體置于變化的磁場中或在磁場中作切割磁力線運動時,導(dǎo)體內(nèi)將產(chǎn)生呈旋渦狀的感應(yīng)電流,這種電流像水中旋渦那樣在導(dǎo)體內(nèi)轉(zhuǎn)圈。所以稱之為電渦流或渦流,這種現(xiàn)象就稱為電渦流放應(yīng),簡稱渦流效應(yīng)。
        要形成渦流,必須具備下列兩個條件:①存在交變磁場;②導(dǎo)體于交變磁場之中。因此,電渦流式傳感器主要由產(chǎn)生交變磁場的通電線圈和置于線圈附近因而于交變磁場中的念屆導(dǎo)體兩部分組成金屬導(dǎo)體也可以是被測對象本身。
